Mr name is Arild Jensen and over the course of the last twenty years or so I have  become an expert in marine wiring.

From working for the U.S. Coast Guard to small fishing boats; I have become specialized in finding the cause of and coming up with a cure for mysterious electrical problems.

I  have custom designed electrical systems for diverse small vessel configurations, and then helped the DIY person implement the design.

I can assist the vintage boat owner in bringing their boat up to ABYC standards to satisfy insurance requirements.

I can assist you with Asian or European systems that are using 230 volt 50 hz  voltage as well as build hybrids that do not require expensive shore power converters or transformers.

I can provide you with an innovative system that allows for multi-voltage and multi-frequency  shore power compatibility.

 Newer vessels are know having a lot of aluminum on board and this itself is causing a lot of problems with stray current.I ca resolve these problems and save your vessel further damage.

I build and design systems that are on the conservative side so that there ratings are almost " Bulletproof " This is extremely important to the owner of an off shore cruising vessel where failure is an option. Owners wishing to take their vessels offshore or across an ocean on their own bottoms will appreciate the ultra-reliable approach that I take in my designs.Redundancy is an integral part of my approach to system design.
 

Past Accomplishments

• My system solved the problem of driving the air-conditioning on all the U.S.Coast Guard's 47 foot Motor Lifeboats without a generator.
• The company that I consulted with is now selling that system to the U.S.Navy for use in combat patrol boats built by Safe Boat Mfg.
• I have designed electrical systems for Selene,Nordhavn,Seahorse Marine, and several owner refitted Krogens.
• I have been the power system consultant for several Micheal Tennant designed power cats, and a Micheal Kasten designed trawler as well as numerous other Vessels which were intended to run strictly offshore where efficiency, simplicity, and reliability are paramount.
